I saw you for the first time,
in a long time,
tonight.
Under the soft glow of the car light
you glowed in my hand.
I smelled you,
your scent stretching my pupils wide
beneath my nose.
I wanted to taste you
I wanted you to relieve me.
We sat in silence,
I finished my cigarette
We entered my home
and I set you on the floor.
You lay there all night
one drop left in you,
your taste, a memory that I cannot revisit,
you are
you were
my everything
my nothing
forget me not, for I have not forgotten you.
